ADM Productions had a great time providing DJ services to an LDS Multi-stake Youth Dance at Snyder Mill, in Park City, Utah.
Youth dances were an exciting event for me as an LDS youth. It was a time to connect with fellow youth, and a time to dance and sing along to our favorite songs. Regional dances/multi-stake dances were especially exciting, because there was lots of new faces, and more bodies equals more energy.
We wanted these kids to have a good time, so we brought our big DJ set-up. The venue, Snyder Mill in Park City was perfect. It easily fit all 300 attendees, and we were given plenty of room. We brought our big sound system, huge subwoofers with plenty of deep boom. It was our first time using a stage for a dance, and it was nice for such a large group. We were able to see the whole dance floor, and see the whole reaction. We brought our video package, which we played visualizations that synced to the music, as well as music videos. It was a challenge to find modern music videos that were appropriate for church dances.
It was awesome to see the looks on the faces of both the youth and leaders as they saw our spotlights and felt the rumbly bass. The dance was awesome. We had great requests from the youth, and they responded well to our song selections and light show. It was a blast. Everybody afterwards raved how they had a blast and that they’ll hire us for other future events.
Vinai and Aaron made a great crew. They helped me DJ, and set-up equipment. This was Vinai’s second gig, and he rocked it.
