The ceremony livestream at Saint Marguerite
The ceremony first took place at Saint Marguerite Catholic School in Tooele, Utah. A few weeks before, we created a YouTube link to livestream the wedding, so that Blanca’s family in Mexico and Scott’s brother serving in the military in the Middle East could feel like they’re a part of the special day! We had a wide angle and a close-up view for the wedding. We used various microphones to capture the sound from the venue and the musicians.
The reception at The Coulter House
The Coulter House is one of our favorite venues! It’s open, has lots of natural light, and has a fun rustic theme inside and out. It was also the perfect venue to celebrate Utah’s Pioneer Day, July 24th! The Coulter House is a historic Pioneer building.
We played the shoe game, and I read the questions in English and Spanish. I made most of the announcements in both English and Spanish. We danced a good mix of Latin & American music! It seemed like the 80’s songs were the sweet the songs that really resonated with everyone. It was truly a fun event to DJ!
