We had the pleasure of DJing the wedding of Fiona & David Gitlin in their backyard in Bountiful, Utah. This wedding was a long time in the making. Fiona’s sister Ellie, originally reached out to be in 2019. The big wedding plans were unfortunately cancelled in lieu of a smaller more intimate wedding. So we used their original “Great Gatsby-esque”, roaring 20’s vibe on their 1-year anniversary. It was a very talented guest list, filled with musicians, dancers, artists, and actors. We had lots of performances in lieu of formalities. We had a karaoke after party and it was awesome! I always love karaoke, but especially with people who are good singers. I took care of sound for the ceremony, reception, karaoke, and performances. I had 6 devices plugged in at all times. For the reception, I was tasked to only play older jazzy stuff pre-1960. (I did play Dean Martin’s “Kick in the Head” which is 1960… but it fit the vibe.)

I’m probably the only one who cares about coincidences like this, but my last outdoor wedding was 2 weeks prior to this one, and it was less than a mile away.
