ADM Productions is based out of Salt Lake City, but we travel all over Utah! This past weekend, we had a wedding at Whispering Oaks Ranch, in the middle of La Sal Mountains, in the Moab. Moab is one of Utah’s Jewels, with lots of outdoor activities to do. The weather is cooling down, and the city was packed with adventurers.
We didn’t have much time to sight see, we drove straight to wedding site. The wedding couple, Dean & Jackie, hired two live musicians, Kaitlyn (cello) & Michael (guitarist). We provided live sound for the musicians while they played during the prelude, ceremony, and cocktail hour. We also mic’d the groom with a lav mic, so that the guests could hear the vows. Being windy, and outdoors, it was essential to have the wedding party mic’d.
There was also another guitarist who played the first dance song, “Crazy Love” – Van Morrision. Kaitlyn & Michael played backup. Live music definitely adds a lot to the celebration!
Guests had fun with our photo booth, and they left a photo in the Bride & Groom’s guest book, and left a nice message.
Dean & Jackie wanted to party, so we had 4 hours of dancing allotted. And the dance floor was packed until the very song of the night. We had everything from top 40, hip-hop, rock, and more. It was a magical night for sure. It was great to work with Becca Dupaix of Blondie Events. Having a great wedding coordinator can make the whole evening run smoothly.
