Sweet 16’s are one of my favorite events to DJ; they are monumental time in a young person’s life, and they’re naturally exciting. I get to indulge in my bass obsession and shake the venue with my deep heavy subwoofers. The venue tonight was at Ember SLC, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Our sleek cocktail hour speaker
This was a big Sweet 16. Ember SLC has two distinct spaces. We started dinner in the front room. ADM Productions provided a battery powered speaker and dinner music while guests socialized and ate. We also provided a wireless microphone for speeches.
The DJ Dance Party
The guests were eager to dance after dinner and the cake cutting. As a result, we had one epic DJ party. Afterwards, we all moved to the back room of Ember SLC. We brought the sound, lighting, and music. For a teen party, heavy bass is essential. We brought an extra 18″ EV ETX subwoofer to really crank it. The guests loved it. We turned off all the lights, and let the dance floor lighting bathe the venue in colorful lights.
Our powerful sub concealed 
I played classic songs like “Yeah x3” by Chris Brown, and l modern songs like “Roxanne” by Arizona Zervas. We also threw in lots of Latin music, more specifically Bachata like Prince Royce.

Congrats to Hannah on your Sweet 16! It was a pleasure being your Sweet 16 DJ.
