Annual corporate Christmas parties take a lot of planning; between booking the venue, the food, the decor and the entertainment. But, it may seem daunting to some employees to socialize, especially for bigger organizations. Some parties offer alcohol to lower inhibitions, but many in Utah, like myself used their drink tickets to get a Diet Coke. A photo booth is the perfect way to get employees to relax, be silly, and bond with the fellow co-workers. We provided a photo booth, DJ dance party, and live sound for the entertainment and presentation. It took place at the lovely Cliff Lodge in Snowbird in Utah.
As guests were arriving, we opened the photo booth. As a result, people were starting the party off right. There was a presentation from the boss, and we provided live sound and a wireless microphone.
Afterwards we had dinner. Dinner was winding down and there was still 30 minutes until our entertainment was to perform. Guests can get antsy in a situation like that, but they all rushed to the photo booth until it was time to get seated for the show.
We had Matt Baker, as comedic juggler entertain the party. He’s been on America’s Got Talent and Last Comic Standing. I was able to mix in his sound equipment and have a smooth funny show.
Afterwards we had a DJ Dance Party! Guests were feeling pretty good at this point. We played the classics like “Billie Jean” – Michael Jackson & “September” – Earth, Wind, and Fire. We played some of the popular songs of 2019, like “Truth Hurts” – Lizzo and “Old Town Road” – Lil Nas X. Latin songs were extremely popular with group.
