“Talofa!” was the greeting I offered my Samoan/American audience. We had dinner, then a presentation of the birthday lady. We provided wireless microphone for speeches, and cued music for dancing. We broke open the dance floor, for dancing and karaoke. We had people singing and dancing all the way until the very end of the night. There was some amazing talent!
